The Olustee-Eldorado Lady Diamondbacks unfortunately had to cancel games this week. Due to quarantine and absence,  both the Monday Hollis game and Tuesday’s Carnegie game have been rescheduled.

The High School girls will travel to Mountain View-Gotebo. They will participate in a 3-way with MVG and Carnegie. This will occur on August 22nd. The Junior High softball girls will play the week of August 22nd as well.

We will continue to support both Jr. High and High school girls as they work hard and play these teams.

However, we do have plenty of new students in our school this year. Students, please welcome a new kid when you see one and make sure to stay kind.

Students, make sure to follow schools rules and stay focused on your school work this year. We look forward to another great year!

High School Games

By Kenzie Richie

The Grandfield Lady Bearcats traveled to Olustee-Eldorado to play both the Junior High and High School Lady Diamondbacks at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29.

The Junior High Lady Diamondbacks got to play one inning of 3 outs 3 runs and 3 innings. There was some lighting that got too close and the game got delayed.

Grandfield left when the wind picked up. The Junior High and High School were going to do a little scrimmage, but the wind got too bad. The High School Lady Diamondbacks play Thursday, September 1st against Burns Flat-Dill City.
