Mary Jo Warren (1st Grade) Mrs. Warren graduated from Duke High School, continued her education at WOSC on a basketball scholarship, and then transferred to SWOSU where she received her degree in Elementary Education.  She began teaching in 1988 at Frederick, OK (Weaver School).  After a semester of teaching, she married her high school sweetheart, Brad Warren.  She started teaching 3rd grade at Olustee in 1991 and is currently teaching 1st grade.  She enjoys working on house projects, OU sports, Texas Rangers baseball, and spending time with her family

Lisa Renfro (2nd Grade)  Mrs. Renfro attended WOSC and UCO. After all her children were in school, she finished her degree in Elementary Education at Cameron University.  She began teaching at Olustee in 1992.  She is married to Joe and they have two married daughters, Megan and Haley and a son, Kade, who is also married.  They have eight grandchildren: Colby, Alyssa, Conner, Aiden, Berkley, Michaella, Regin, and Kara.  In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

Ashley Mitchell (3rd grade) Mrs. Mitchell graduated from Terrell High School in 2006.  She moved to Weatherford, OK to attend SWOSU.  During her sophomore year, she met and married Derrick Mitchell.  She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education from SWOSU in 2010.  She began teaching at Olustee in Aug 2011.  She and Derrick has two daughters, Gracelyn and Addisynn.  Mrs. Mitchell enjoys listening to contemporary Christian music, spending time with her family, and singing with them mostly at church functions.

Judy Hankins (4th grade) Mrs. Hankins attended Cameron University where she received her degree in Elementary Education.  She taught in Lawton Public Schools for 2 years before marrying Dwight and moving to Hollis, Oklahoma.  She taught at Eldorado Elementary for 21 years before coming to Olustee Elementary in 2002.  She received her Masters in Reading at SWOSU.  She has two sons, Tanner and Tyle, and a daughter-in-law Mallory.  She enjoys reading, cooking, baseball games, and working in her flowerbeds.

  Lynda Carrell (5th and 6th grade) Ms. Carrell attended Cameron University in Lawton, OK where she received a degree in  Elementary Education.  She is currently working on her Master's Degree in Educational Administration.  Ms. Carrell began teaching at Olustee in 2007.  She also coaches Junior High and High School softball and cheerleading.  She has 2 children, Alex and Nick.

Melvin Hazel  Mr. Hazel attended WOSC and Cameron University where he received his degree in Elementary Education.  He also attended SWOSU for his Master's in Education Administration.  He began teaching in 1980 at Manitou, OK, then taught in the Lawton Public School System before coming to Olustee in 1997.  He is married to Tori, has two daughters, Mallory and Mackenzie, and three grandchildren, Emma, Ella, and Milo.  In his spare time, he enjoys working at the radio station in Altus, singing and playing golf.    

Derrick Mitchell (5th & 6th Grade) Mr. Mitchell graduated from Olustee in 1999. He moved to Weatherford to pursue a degree in teaching from SWOSU.  He graduated from SWOSU with a BS in Elementary Education in 2005.  He began his teaching career in the Big Pasture Schools where he taught a number of subjects including kindergarten thru 6th grade music and art and also junior high math.  Two years later, he took a job with the Eldorado Public School teaching 2nd thru 4th grades for 4 years.  He married Ashley Jarvis in 2008.  They had their first daughter in 2010 and the second in 2012.  He began teaching at Olustee in 2011.  He enjoys fishing, farming and the great outdoors.  He also enjoys being with his family and singing at church events.

Brent Drury (Counselor/Language Arts) Mr. Drury attended Olustee Public Schools until he graduated high school in 1983. He received his Associate in Science from Western Oklahoma State College in 1985, his Bachelor of Science in Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1987, and his Master of Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1993. He began teaching in 1988 at Clinton Public Schools and has been employed at Olustee Public Schools since 1993. Brent is married to Jeri Lyn and has three children: Cade, Eli, and Saylor. He enjoys watching OU football and the OKC Thunder, history, genealogy, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Mrs. Freeman (Language Arts) Mrs. Freeman attended WOSC and Cameron University where she received a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education and a Master's in Behavioral Science.  She also obtained certifications as a Library Media Specialist, Secondary Principal, and Superintendent.  She began her teaching career in 1983 at Southside School and remained there until its closure in 1991.  At that time, she transferred to Olustee School and has proudly served the district for 21 years.  She is married to Danny and has two children, Amber and Seth, and one grandson, Kastin.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, drawing, and hiking.

Matthew Whitaker (Social Studies/Girls Basketball) Mr. Whitaker graduated from Navajo High School in 2002.  He went on to continue his education at WOSC and got an associate's degree in History before continuing on to OSU and getting a bachelors degree in Secondary Education with a focus on Social Studies.  He began his teaching career in Wellston, Ok in 2007 before coming to Olustee in 2011.  He married his high school girl friend, Kendra, during his last year of college at OSU.  In his spare time, he enjoys working on the family farm, helping out with school activities, and playing golf.

  Anna Everhart (Math) Mrs. Everhart graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1989.  She went on to continue her education at SWOSU in Weatherford.  In 1993, she received her degree in Secondary Mathematics Education.  She began her teaching career in Eldorado in 1997 before coming to Olustee in 2010.  She married Joe in 1991 and has two sons, Kenneth and Kaden and one daughter, Kyla and 2 stepsons, Tim and Chris.

Margie Fixico (English/Spanish) Mrs. Fixico is a 1983 high school graduate from Olustee High School.  She has been an avid Eagle fan for many years.  She received her associates in applied science from Western Oklahoma State College, Bachelor of Arts in English from Cameron University with a minor in romance language and she has a Masters of Education in Library Media from East Central University.  She is married to Coach Eagle Fixico and the proud mother of four and grandmother of one, all boys.  She enjoys watching two of them play ball while Coach Fixico coaches them.
